Natalie Harris, LCSWA
Life can become overwhelming at times, and it's okay to feel anxious or depressed when you experience significant changes. Sometimes, we honestly don't know why we feel the way we do. Confidently, I'd like you to know it's okay not to be okay. I specialize in helping individuals cope with significant life changes that may trigger feelings of depression and anxiety. If you experience a lack of emotions, or motivation, or have racing thoughts, I am here to support you. During sessions, I use and teach clients mechanisms for empowerment and emotional control. My ultimate goal is to have my clients excited about the next chapter in their lives.
In a safe and non-judgmental space where you feel most comfortable expressing yourself, we will create a plan to regain your positive mindset and develop coping skills that put you back in charge.
I work with individuals with depression and anxiety as a result of life stressors, residential relocations, and termination of relationships. During our initial session, we will identify reasons for therapy, and develop goals and a treatment plan to address your reasons for seeking therapy. With my services, clients are mentally and emotionally in control.
During therapy, I utilize Emotional Focus Therapy to assist clients in understanding and processing their emotions. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to assist clients with improving their perspective and Motivational Interviewing as a tool to empower clients through the therapeutic process. Additionally, I use Strength-Based Therapy to focus on the client's strengths as a way to power through difficult times.
